I always read with an open mind, but I also curate what appears on this blog. If I find that a book’s themes, tone, or approach don’t align with what I’m comfortable featuring here, I reserve the right to decline a review, even if I initially accepted or personally purchased the book. My reviews are honest, and sometimes that honesty means recognizing that a book is simply not a good fit for this space. In those cases, I will choose not to publish a review rather than force one.
